Tamborine Mountain is worth the drive from Gold Coast and would recommend an overnight stay. Our 1st stop took us to Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk. Click to read about our leisurely walk up in the trees.
Following the skywalk the search was on a winery serving lunch. We settled on Heritage Wines mostly due to spotting it first. The venue has the perfect set-up to host weddings. The views alone would make a great backdrop! This was a slow day allowing us prime window seating to take in the view.
Next we decided to walk off our lunch. Mt. Tamborine has numerous trails to choose from and I would have loved to explore more. The Cameron Falls trail was an easy loop to the waterfall and back.

Wild animals running around the trail. I was fine as long as it was not a snake!
Watch out… they bite!

My girls love a good pose. Look at that duck face. Oh boy! They start young…
Incredible trees from our walk.
Following our walk we drove into the main town area in search of sweets. The streets are lined with mom/pop shops with cafe, clothing, crafts, etc. We found a candy store to satisfy our chocolate cravings.
The nearby Jasmin Organics company offered facility tours and I ended up purchasing face cream. The gardens smell ed lovely!
Finally, we ended the day at Fortitude Brewing Company which offered a beer sampler. I am more of a wine girl but the cider option was nice!
Cheese Shop offered samples before purchase. We selected a variety to bring back with us.
