Melbourne Star

Day three in Melbourne we decided to take public transportation and explore downtown Melbourne and Docklands.

The girls riding the free trolley to Docklands for lunch and to ride the Melbourne Star.

I loved all the colorful buildings in Melbourne.  The downtown is so artistic.

We decided to take the 30 minute ride to get a better view of Melbourne. It was a bit rainy and they told us that we could come back for another ride; however, we did not have time.  I thought we still had a great view despite the weather.

The pods were large enough to hold 20 people but we were able to have our own due to the limited number of people in line to ride.

Following our ride on the Melbourne Star and lunch, we went by the Queen Victoria Market.  We were a little turned around on our way there so they had already packed up most of the market by the time we arrived.  It was still neat to see the large size of the market. We headed back to the hotel to get out of the rainy weather and take the girls for an afternoon swim in the indoor pool.
