Last month we traveled back to Arkansas where Andrew and I were born. We had not planned to visit this year considering both our parents visited only a few months ago; however, my sister-in-law had a sweet little boy we had to meet. I will not post pictures since he is not my little guy but you can take my word that he is a cutie!
The 1st part of the trip took place in northeast Arkansas where I am from. My mom was excited for our arrival and had the swimming pool ready for the girls. She had a mishap on the 2nd day we were there which resulted in her breaking her wrist pretty severely. She had surgery the next day and put a little damper on our time together. I really hated seeing her in pain but glad I was in the hospital with her.
Once she was recovering a few days after surgery, we headed up to her lake house. This has been a favorite past time of mine since I was a little girl. I love being on the water and my brother happens to have the perfect boat for us all.
The stunning view!
Andrew and I soaking up the summer sun!
The girls enjoying a boat ride.
Man I love the view on Norfork lake!
Ella fell asleep both days on the boat ride back to the house.
Aubrey driving the boat with Uncle Kevin
Mom and I on the boat. Glad she felt up to hanging out with us even if she could not get in the water. Paul was there too but somehow did not get any pictures. Fun weekend on the lake!
Next up we headed back to Little Rock to visit more with Andrew’s family!
