Da Nang – Vietnam

Other than the shuttle ride from the airport, my 1st experience in Da Nang City happened during the Fire-Breathing Dragon Bridge show.  The girls were still too jet lagged to come with me so Andrew kindly volunteered to stay behind with them.  The bustling city comes alive at night with all the lights especially along the River.  I wanted to see what it was like during the daytime.

Following our trip to visit Lady Buddha, a popular spiritual and tourist destination, we asked the cab driver to drop us at the Han Market.  Here we spent an hour walking through the various vendor shops where I purchased a new dress and the girls both bought hats.  Ella found a special shirt that highlights her two favorite cartoons: Paw Patrol and Elsa.  Nevermind that these are Nick Jr and Disney characters.  Oh well, she loved it!

Next we took a walk along the Hàn River so the kids could get a look at the famous Dragon Bridge in daylight. The dragon shape spans across the full length of the bridge.

The last thing we wanted to do is try a restaurant outside the resort. Waterfront Restaurant and Bar located along the river walk area had both a good view and delicious food!
